Barham Warm Welcome Project

The Barham Warm Welcome Project is a series of free to attend, open to all sessions at the hall, on Fridays through the Winter months into 2023.

The Grabham Room will be open and hosting activities for the community to gather, chat, play and learn. All events are FREE to attend, although tickets are required for some - to give us an idea of numbers.  Tickets can be booked here: https://bookwhen.com/bvh

Digital Support - Jan 6th, 10-12 noon

Free basic IT tuition to get the best out of your laptop/iPad/Smartphone. If you're struggling with the Internet, email, Word or similar, bring your device and we can get you back on track!

Free WiFi & device charging. No ticket required.

This session will also run on Feb 3rd (10-12 noon) and March 17th (6-8pm)

Scrabble! - Jan 6th, 2-4pm

Join us for a afternoon of word play! Bring a set if you have one, just so nobody is left sitting. There'll be free tea/coffee, heating on, neighbourly chat and some high scores! All ages welcome. No ticket required.

This session will also run on March 10th (2-4pm)

Knit & Natter! - Jan 13th, 2-4pm

Bring your projects, or get help with getting started. Have a chat and a cuppa while you work!
No ticket required.

Due to popular demand, this session will run again on Feb 10th 2-4pm x

Kids Winter Crafts - Jan 20th, 3.30-5pm

Join the Friends of Barham School for an afternoon of winter craft activities. All materials supplied. Refreshments provided.

Chess Night - Feb 3rd, 5-11pm
 

An evening of chess, in conjunction with Bridge Chess Club.

 

Learn, play and improve your chess game with opponents of all levels. Children and beginners welcome too, as well as improvers and more advanced players! Drop in at any time after 5pm to play chess, learn the basics, improve your strategies and enjoy the game of Kings!

Come and learn how to do more with your / your child's hair! Our friends at Ohana Hair & Beauty will be helping us with plaits, updo's, simples bunches & pigtails.

Coffee Stop

A reminder that, in addition to the Friday activtiies above, our Tuesday morning Coffee Stop is open to all ages every Tuesday morning from 10-12 noon for hot drinks and biscuits, togetherness, company, or just come and sit by the radiator and read!
No need to book - just come on down!
